Crown FC defender, Ugochukwu Anozie, has urged his teammates to aim for victory in their clash against Edel FC.
The Ajilete Warriors suffered a 1-0 defeat in their last league match against Gateway FC in Ogbomoso.
Crown FC will look to return to winning ways when they take on Edel FC at the Awka Township stadium on Saturday.
Anozie acknowledged the team’s recent struggles but insisted that they are focused and determined to improve on their performance.
“We know our recent results have not been good enough, especially for a team with ambitions of securing promotion,” Anozie told OyoSportsNews.
“We must rediscover our confidence, show greater courage on the pitch and maintain a strong mentality throughout the game. At this stage of the season, we cannot afford unnecessary mistakes.”
