Members of the Okuru Ama community surveillance group in the Trans Amadi area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have apprehended a suspected notorious armed robber identified as Promise.
The suspect, a native of Ogoni, was nabbed around 3:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
Promise, who has allegedly been terrorising various parts of Port Harcourt, ran out of luck following intelligence gathered by the surveillance team.
Acting swiftly on the tip-off, the Golf Estate security unit, led by Commander TK, moved into action and arrested the suspect.
He was subsequently brought to the Okuru Ama main gate by the team, led by the Chief Security Officer, F. Peters.
