Barau FC technical adviser, Eugene Agagbe, has blamed injury for his team’s failure to score in the goalless draw against Wikki Tourists.
Nura Ibrahim, Sunday Antony and Bismark Duah were substituted early in the game at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday.
Mohammed Umar and Henry Ezeonye came close to scoring but their attempts were unsuccessful.
Goalkeeper Chisom Chiaha extended his clean sheets to five games following the match.
“We thank God for the result, the injuries we suffered from the first half affected our chances of scoring,” Agagbe told Barau FC media.
Barau FC have garnered 41 points from 31 matches this season.
