Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, has blamed missed chances for his team’s draw with Wikki Tourists.

The Umuahia-based club were held to a 1-1 draw in a midweek fixture on Wednesday.

Chukwuemeka Obioma and Taheer Abubakar were on target for Abia Warriors and Wikki Tourists respectively.

Amapakabo pointed out that goal scoring has been the major problem of his team this season.

He assured that they will improve on the deficiency in the remaining matches of the campaign.

“The team pressed the panic button too early as we didn’t play to fall, the chances that were created the players couldn’t convert because they were in hurry,” Amapakabo told Abia Warriors media after the game in Umuahia.

“One of the biggest problems we are having is our inability to convert our chances. We will keep on working hard to get it right.”
