Rangers striker, Godwin Obaje is currently leading the top scorers’ chart in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Obaje netted his 11th goal of the campaign in Rangers’s 2-0 victory over El-kanemi Warriors on Sunday.
The 30-year-old is ahead of Daddy Abdulrahman (El Kanemi Warriors), Uche Collins (Katsina United) and Joseph Arumala (Ikorodu City), who have all scored 10 goals in each.
NEWSUNPLUG recalls Obaje was top scorer in the NPFL in the 2026 season.
Another former NPFL Goal King Victor Mbaoma has scored nine goals.
Rangers moved to the summit of the NPFL on Sunday following the win over El-kanemi Warriors.
