Shooting Stars have commended their players for the resilience and determination they exhibited in the win over Niger Tornadoes.
The Oluyole Warriors defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Sunday.
Adelowo Gbolagade and Promise Awosanmi grabbed the goals for Shooting Stars, while Kufre Ebong netted the only goal for Niger Tornadoes.
Shooting Stars believe that the victory was well earned.
“We showed resilience, attacking intent, and control throughout the contest to secure a well-earned 2–1 victory at home.” Shooting Stars stated after the game.
Shooting Stars will be up against Enyimba in their game.
