Obioma, Odigie win NPFL Player, Coach of the Month award

Enyimba forward, Chukwuemeka Obioma has won the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for February.

Obioma scored four goals in the month, including two against Shooting Stars at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

The striker is currently the top scorer in the NPFL with seven goals.

He beat Osarenkhoe Imade, Uche Collins, Joseph Atule,Robert Mizo and Amas Obasogie to the award.

Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie won the Coach of the Month prize.

It’s the second time the former Golden Eaglets gaffer will be winning the award this season.

Insurance won three and drew two of their five matches last month.

The Benin Arsenals are the only team yet to taste defeat in the NPFL this season.
