Oyo State Executive Council has announced the appointment of HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, Paramount Ruler of Emuoha Kingdom, as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.
Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.
He said the decision was reached during the State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday.
The statement reads in part,
“LAUTECH will benefit from the rich experience of the first class monarch as an administrator, community leader and a reverred traditional ruler.
“The appointment takes immediate effect.”
