Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, attended the 2023 British Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Monday.
At the London Awards show, the Zazuu crooner was in the company of British-Nigerian Grime rapper Joseph Adenuga Jr., also known as Skepta, at the event.
The street artiste strutted behind Skepta and other members of his BBK crew amid pomp and pageantry.
Portable took his Instagram page to thank God for always being there for him, observing that his creator is by his side no matter what obstacles he faces.
“Do it again BigGod Am grateful oh lord no matter how hard it is you have always been here from the beginning to the end @skepta @portablebaeby we are outside IKA OF AFRICA live in London Fashion Awards 2023,” he wrote.
Hollywood stars Anne Hathaway and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the attendees.
Big night winners included Jonathan Anderson for Designer of the Year; Sarah Burton for the Special Recognition Award, and Martine Rose for British Menswear Designer of the Year.
Singer Sam Smith received the Cultural Innovator Award, while British-Ghanaian actress and writer Michaela Coel took the gong for the Pandora Leader of Change.
