As political conversations around the 2027 general elections begin to intensify, veteran Nigerian singer Konga has stirred attention after releasing a campaign-themed song supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A video that emerged online on Monday, March 9, captured the moment the singer popularly known for his 2003 hit song Baby Konga performed the new track in front of the president’s son, Seyi Tinubu.
In the short clip circulating across social media platforms, Seyi and members of his team were seen at what appeared to be an outdoor gathering while listening to the song dedicated to his father.
Another moment in the video showed Konga respectfully greeting Seyi during the event.
Part of the lyrics from the track praises the president’s efforts, with the line: “Jagaban dey work, Tinubu dey try.”
Meanwhile, in a related development, online users recently reacted to a viral photo featuring Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, widely known as Aki, alongside Seyi Tinubu.
The image, which began trending on Sunday, March 8, 2026, showed the actor shaking hands with Seyi, who was seen wearing a traditional fez cap.
