Real Madrid are closing in on a deal to sign Aimar Garcia from Atlético Madrid’s academy.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Wednesday.
According to Romano, verbal agreement between both parties has been “done for the 18-year-old centre-back.”
Garcia will be out of contract in June this year.
Real Madrid are expected to bolster their squad in the summer transfer window.
The Los Blancos are currently sitting on top of the LaLiga table ahead of second-position Barcelona.
