Real Madrid have identified two midfielders they want to sign as Luka Modric’s replacement at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Los Blancos has already confirmed that Modric will leave the club this summer.

The Croatian midfielder will play his last LaLiga game for Real Madrid on Saturday when they tackle Real Sociedad at home.

Modric will leave Madrid after the end of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign this summer.

However, according to Cadena SER, Real Madrid have two options they are considering to replace the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner.

According to the report the midfielders are Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez and Bayer Leverkusen’s Exequiel Palacios.

Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012 from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

The 39-year-old has won 28 trophies, including six UEFA Champions Leagues and four domestic titles during his time in Madrid.
