A woman has been arrested for allegedly pouring hot water on her husband’s first wife in South Sudan.
It was gathered that the incident happened in Juba, the country’s capital.
South Sudan News Deck reported on Friday, March 13, 2026 that the second wife poured hot water on the face and body of her rival during a dispute over household responsibilities and their husband.
The suspect was immediately arrested by the police in the area while the other one was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
