Businessman and lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, has made a return to social media amid ongoing reactions to fresh allegations surrounding his marriage to Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
Recall that Regina recently accused the senator of being behind the arrest of her siblings a claim that stirred significant online debate.
However, Nwoko appeared unbothered by the controversy as he took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share updates on one of his latest initiatives the construction of a mini-stadium in Issele-Uku, Delta State.
According to him, the project was designed to motivate young people, encourage healthy competition, and promote unity within the community.
The senator revealed that the new facility includes a standard football pitch, a seven-a-side multi-sports arena, pavilions on both sides, and fully equipped dressing rooms all aimed at providing a supportive environment for sports and recreation.
“For me, every project is about impact providing our people with access to opportunities that uplift, empower, and bring us together,” he wrote. “This stadium will help nurture the next generation of athletes and leaders who will make Delta North proud. Our transformation journey continues, one community at a time.”
Meanwhile, Regina Daniels’ mother, veteran actress Rita Daniels, has also spoken out, accusing Nwoko of tarnishing their family’s image despite their past support for him.
She claimed that Regina contributed $50,000 (about ₦71 million) to his campaign, adding that she too had invested both financially and personally in his political ambitions.
