Brazil legend and former Napoli striker, Antonio Careca has hailed Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international has been banging in goals week in, week out for his Italian side Napoli.
However, it was Osimhen’s brilliant goal against AS Roma late last month that caught the attention of Careca, who said he sees something of Pele in the striker.
Speaking about Osimhen’s goal against Jose Mourinho’s Roma, Careca told Calciomercato: “In the goal scored against Roma, I saw something similar to Pelé.
“He dominated the ball, dominated the defender and smashed the goal. In that goal, there is everything, technique, malice and power.”
Victor Osimhen has started 16 games for Napoli this season, scoring 17 goals.
