Online commentator Daniel Regha has criticized Tacha Akide following her comments in the ongoing discussion about whether men should pay for women’s meals on first dates.
The debate on social media was sparked when a woman called out a man for taking her number but refusing to cover the cost of her food.
Tacha weighed in, siding with the woman and suggesting that a man should be able to pay for a lady he is meeting for the first time. She compared the situation to the animal kingdom, saying that males typically hunt and provide for females.
Regha, however, pointed out that some animals mate and then abandon the females and their offspring. He concluded by advising Tacha to focus on her makeup content instead of engaging in such intellectual debates.
He said …
“A lot of male species in the animal kingdom also abandon the female after mating, leaving the responsibility of raising the newborns to the female; Should men “Clock it” too? And just so u know, not all females in the animal kingdom wait to be impressed, some do the chasing to impress the male, but I guess u don’t know that since u barely watch NatGeo Wild. Stick to makeup sis, intellectual conversations is bey@nd u. No offense.”
