Super Eagles right-back, Bright Osayi-Samuel has named his five favourite Nigerian football legends.

The Birmingham City star spoke in a recent interview with Oma Sports TV.

When asked to name his favourite Nigerian football legends, the former Fenerbahçe player named Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Joseph Yobo, Vincent Enyeama, and Rashidi Yekini.

“I will say Okocha. He still has a picture frame display in the Fenerbahçe training up still today; they love him there, he is like a legend for them. Kanu, especially when he was at Arsenal and Portsmouth. He is really good,” Osayi-Samuel said.

“Yobo. His picture is also at the Fernabahce training ground. I look up to him. I have spoken to him before, and he gave me advice, very supportive. Enyeama. I used to watch him when I was younger.

“And Yekini. I didn’t really watch him, but I remember my dad used to mention him, that he was one of the greatest players who had played for Nigeria.”
