Tension As Bandits Strike Again, Abduct Pastor And Wife In Kaduna

The victims were identified as Rev. Christopher Rufa’asiri, pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, and his wife, Mrs. Patience Christopher.

Suspected bandits have kidnapped a pastor and his wife in the Angwan Adiko area of Kafari–Kujama community, located in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The victims were identified as Rev. Christopher Rufa’asiri, pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, and his wife, Mrs. Patience Christopher.

The incident occurred in the late hours of Monday night, January 26, 2026, throwing the community into fear.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) immediately mobilised a patrol team in collaboration with other security agencies to the scene.

The surrounding bushes were cordoned off, and efforts are being intensified to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
