Clement who is heading to South Africa by road, passed through some checkpoints in Nigeria. ‘’Give me dollars. We want to buy fuel’. You are to give us money. We are providing service, safety on the road.’ the officer asked
Clement immediately informed him that the government pays him salary and so he shouldn’t be asking him for money.
