Francisca Ezinne Nwaigwe Uchegbu, a Nigerian woman, and her husband have celebrated the arrival of their first child after five years of marriage.
Sharing her testimony in a Facebook post on Friday, February 27, 2026, she recalled when certain people advised her husband to marry another wife who will bear children for him.
The new mom also revealed that she tried to persuade her husband to marry another wife but he vehemently refused.
“The barren woman has finally put to bed after 5years in marriage. Chai this God is full of surprises,” she wrote.
“Those making mockery of me for being childless are now hiding in shame. Indeed, God is merciful. I am a beautiful story.
“This is the face of my husband carrying our Son after my CS. He slept in the hospital for 5 days beholding Samuel’s face in joy. Here is the man who waited for 5 years with me to see Samuel come forth.
“Advisers came to him at his work place telling him to marry another wife to give him children, but he told them, he will wait on God.
“I woke him up one night and I asked him to go for a second wife at least let’s see a child that will take care of us at old age and he said NO, if it comes to the worst,we will save and adopt.
“God saw his heart and blessed him with a son.For the rest of our lives, I should learn to tolerate him because he stood the test of time and waited with me to prove to the world that he didn’t marry a man as they assumed .
“I am a beautiful story.”
