Singer, Tiwa Savage has sparked controversy with her bold statement concerning the ‘Afrobeats Top 3’.

NEWSUNPLUG reports that Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido are widely regarded as the ‘Big 3’ of the Afrobeats genre.

Savage, who perhaps feels the ‘Big 3’ tag has some underlining misogynistic sentiments, used the f-word for the purported ranking during her recent concert in London, England.

“I don’t want to say a lot of things because I will be trending by tomorrow. F**k the Top 3,” she yelled midway into her performance.

Despite being regarded by man as the ‘Queen of Afrobeats’, Tiwa Savage is often excluded from the many male-dominated purported lists of Afrobeats Top artists.

During the concert, Savage also brought out her son, Jamil, on stage for the first time.

She had stated in a previous interview that she wouldn’t let her son pursue a career in music.
