Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has vowed to defend her close friend and colleague, Iyabo Ojo, after months of what she described as persistent bullying.
This came after the new grandmother faced a series of criticisms on her involvement in issues involving the late Mohbad, Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and attacks from her long-time colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.
In a strongly worded post on Instagram, Abraham revealed that she had been silent while Iyabo endured constant attacks, choosing instead to support her privately.
However, she declared that her patience has run out and warned that she is now ready to react openly by taking the bull by the horns henceforth.
“Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react, and I pray the world won’t call it ‘overreacting.’ Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it. Not just as a mum… but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go,” she wrote.
Iyabo Ojo, who responded in the comment section, urged Abraham to remain calm and avoid involvement while assuring her of her love.
“Baby, hold your peace. I love you,” she replied.
The now-deleted exchange has since drawn attention online, with fans praising Abraham for standing up for her friend while others echoed Ojo’s call for restraint.
