The summer transfer window is now closed in England.

The window shut at 7 pm on Monday, September 1.

However, clubs can still complete transfers beyond that time if they submitted deal sheets.

This year, the summer transfer window for English clubs closed four hours earlier than the usual 11 pm deadline.

The Premier League, EFL and Football Association, FA, all voted for the change, which will enable a more normal working pattern for staff across football.

Clubs will, however, be granted a two-hour grace period after the window shuts to complete deals, provided paperwork has been submitted to the FA by 7 pm.

For signings from foreign clubs, the deadline to meet FIFA’s requirements is midnight.
