Manchester United have started formal negotiations with Aston Villa to sign their goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
According to Diego Monroig, talks are in the early stages and the Martinez’s entourage is open to the move.
Martinez has been linked with a move to Man United as Andre Onana is currently injured.
Man United are keen to strengthen their manager Ruben Amorim’s squad this summer after a poor campaign in the Premier League last season.
Meanwhile, in a related development, Juventus has reached an agreement with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho’s camp, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Serie A giants are now working on getting Man United to agree to a fee for the England international.
The report added that Juventus has offered £15 million for Sancho as the Red Devils is currently working on a decision regarding the former Borussia Dortmund star.
