Liverpool legend, John Barnes has fully endorsed Jadon Sancho’s potential move to Borussia Dortmund as he looks to get out of Manchester United this January transfer window.

Sancho is currently frozen out of Man United’s first-team after clashing with manager Erik ten Hag earlier this season.

It is early reported that Man United are in talks with Dortmund for Sancho to join the Bundesliga side on loan this month.

Speaking on the developments, Brnes told Mybettingsites, “Dortmund is a great move for Sancho. The harmony is good, the togetherness and the fans like him due to his time at the club.

“People won’t treat him like he is a superstar and Germany is always a great place for young players to go.

“He is a great player. He is skilful and intelligent so I would like to see him back in Germany.”

Sancho joined Man United from Dortmund in 2021.
