Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have killed a suspected bandit and recovered an AK-47 rifle during an operation in Turare Forest, Katsina State.
According to a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama via his X handle, the operation was conducted around 3:00 a.m. on Monday in collaboration with other security agencies, following credible intelligence about the presence of bandits in the area.
Military sources said patrols and surveillance have been intensified in the forest to prevent further criminal activities.
