Fenerbahçe head coach Domenico Tedesco has praised his defenders for stopping Victor Osimhen in Monday night’s Turkish Super Lig clash.
The Yellow Canaries held their city rivals to a 1-1 draw in a keenly contested intercontinental derby at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
Osimhen, who scored a brace in their previous meeting, was caged by the Fenerbahce defence led by captain Milan Skriniar.

The Nigeria international featured for 89 minutes in the game.
Tedesco credited his players for standing up to the challenge.
“I don’t think Galatasaray controlled the game either. In matches like this, winning second balls is important. They played long balls to Osimhen and Baris, and we defended most of them well,” the gaffer was quoted by Fanatik.
