Vincenzo Montella, former AC Milan manager, has stated that Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen is an ’emotional leader’ rather than a technical one for the club.
Montella also emphasized that if Juventus faces a Galatasaray squad without a fully fit Osimhen in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff second-leg, they could have a significant advantage.
Osimhen missed Galatasaray’s recent Turkish Super Lig clash against Konyaspor due to a knee injury, but he is part of the squad for the upcoming match against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday night.
“Osimhen is more of an emotional leader than a technical one for Galatasaray,” Montella told TuttoSport, according to Futboo.
“He shifts the balance significantly; he is a player who changes the very face of the team. If Galatasaray cannot play him, it will undoubtedly be a massive advantage for Juve.”
