Nigerian businessman and politician Ned Nwoko stirred conversations online after he casually asked a young woman about her age during a recent public outing.
Nwoko had stopped by a popular social lounge in Abuja for a friendly visit. The moment drew even more attention because it comes at a time when he is reportedly dealing with issues in his marriage to his sixth wife, Regina Daniels.
While mingling with guests, Ned approached a young lady and jokingly asked, “How old are you? Just be honest with me.”
The playful question amused people around him and triggered mixed reactions once the clip surfaced online.
Nwoko also made it clear that he didn’t intend to discuss his marriage, saying he planned to focus on other topics instead.
“Today, I’m going to talk about many things, not just Ned and Regina,” he remarked.
During his address, he spoke about different aspects of his personal and professional life ranging from his experiences with the UK legal system to his travels as far as Antarctica.
He highlighted various projects for Delta North as well, including youth-focused initiatives, plans for the proposed Sports University, and ongoing work on security and social welfare legislation.
Ned ended by inviting the club members and the public to visit his community during the holidays:
“To all Kay Hikers, my hometown is open this Christmas. Come and enjoy our culture and the warmth of our people!”
