Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has left social media divided after speaking about attraction.
On the Mansplanation podcast, he described his relationship with his wife, Toyosi, as a business. According to him, it is a working relationship, partnership, business, and enterprise that is founded on love.
“What I have with my wife is a working relationship. It’s a partnership, it’s a business, an enterprise, that is founded on love. We decided that we are going to build this family”.
Effiong said marriage to him is more than just romance; it is a deliberate partnership that requires communication, commitment, and mutual respect.
The talented actor emphasised that both partners must actively work on the relationship to ensure it thrives, treating it almost like a shared enterprise where love is the foundation.
Speaking on the subject of being attracted to others, Etim admitted that he is, although he doesn’t love them. The actor said attraction and love are two different things because there is being in love and loving someone.
“Do I get attracted to people? Yes, I can get attracted to you and not necessarily be in love with the person. It’s two different things. Cause there is being in love and loving someone”.
