NBA star, Anthony Edwards has mocked Portugal forward, Cristiano Ronaldo after he claimed not to know him.
Edwards, popularly known as Ant-Man, spoke on Sunday while wearing Lionel Messi’s Argentina national team jersey at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The 24-year-old was part of the NBA All-Star game on Sunday, in which he was named Most Valuable Player, MVP, after his USA Stars defeated the USA Stripes 47-21.
However, when asked whether he knew Ronaldo, Edwards said as quoted by Sportskeeda: “Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s that? I can’t f*ck with him! Where does he play?” He responded.
Ronaldo currently plays his club football for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, while Messi plies his trade in the United States with MLS side Inter Miami.
Both forwards have won 13 Ballon d’Or awards between themselves are are widely regarded as among the best players in football history.
