A young woman was found brutally murd£red in the home of her fiancé after he allegedly invited her while pretending he was sick and needed care.
The deceased, Ogechukwu Mmadubugwu, reportedly went to the home of her fiancé, Valentine Chibuike Anaikpe, at about 9pm on Monday, Dec. 8, after he told her he was sick and needed medications.
Ogechukwu reportedly bought the medications and took to Valentine, but when she got there, he pretended his situation had gotten worse and begged her to pass the night at his house.
Ogechukwu’s cousin, Angela Mmadubugwu Ike, who shared the news on Facebook, said Ogechukwu called her mother to update her before sleeping over at Valentine’s house.
The following day, Dec. 9, no one heard from Ogechukwu and when efforts to reach her and her fiancé proved abortive, her family went to Valentine’s house where they found her “st@bbed with kn!fe and sharp objects like an animal.”
“Her bl00d was all over the house,” Angela disclosed, adding, “The guy was no where to be found and till now, nobody knows his whereabouts.”
Angela stated that “Ogechukwu deserves justice” and called on well-meaning Nigerians to help locate the fleeing fiancé and report to the nearest police station if they have information on his whereabouts.
