Former Argentine striker, Gabriel Batistuta, has predicted Albiceleste to reach the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.
According to Bastituta, Lionel Scaloni’s men are relaxed, and the squad is better than it was in Qatar three years ago.
He spoke ahead of the 2026 World Cup draw that will take place on Friday.
“Right now, they [Argentina] are at their best,” Bastituta said in an interview with TyC Sports.
“The guys know how they want to play, and they are relaxed because they know what it is like to win.
“I am convinced they will reach the final again,” he stated.
Argentina are the current holder of the World Cup, having won the 2022 edition in Qatar after beating France in the final.
