Nigerian rapper YCee has sparked widespread controversy following a strongly worded post in which he criticised the current political leadership and expressed deep frustration with the state of governance in the country.
In the post shared on his social media page, the musician condemned what he described as the failures of the present administration, saying simply voting politicians out of office in 2027 would not be enough. He also questioned the readiness of opposition parties, suggesting they had not done enough to challenge those currently in power.
YCee’s comments, which included extreme and graphic language, quickly drew reactions online. While some users agreed with his criticism of political leadership and echoed his anger over governance issues, others condemned the violent tone of the message and warned against rhetoric that could incite harm.
