A video circulating widely on social media has sparked heated discussions after a woman known as “Mama J” shared her thoughts on how wives should handle infidelity within marriage.
In the clip, which has garnered thousands of views and reactions, Mama J criticised women who claim they would cheat in retaliation if their husbands were unfaithful, arguing that such behavior only aggravates the situation instead of resolving it.
Addressing her audience directly, she challenged the idea that revenge cheating is an acceptable solution.
“Did I hear you saying that? Wife, that if your husband cheats, you are going to cheat back. Mrs. Cheater… you don’t understand your role,” she remarked.
She emphasized that marriage involves specific responsibilities, suggesting that a wife should view herself as a supportive partner, even when facing challenges.
“If you understand your responsibility and the reason you married that man, you will recognize that you married him to be his helper,” she added.
Mama J further described infidelity as a form of “sickness,” asserting that a wife should assist her husband in addressing the issue rather than retaliating with similar behavior.
“Even if he is unfaithful… you need to support him in that area, not join him in cheating,” she explained.
She also warned that a woman who engages in cheating as revenge may be guilty of the same conduct.

“You are responsible for his development as well… don’t you realize you are like a mother to him?” she said, a comment that has attracted criticism online.
