The results of Match Day 8 and Match Day 6 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the African and European zones, played on Tuesday, have been confirmed.

South Africa played a 1-1 draw with Nigeria at the Free State Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Goals from William Troost-Ekong (own-goal) and Calvin Bassey gave both Bafana Bafana and the Super Eagles a point each.

Senegal came from a 2-0 down to beat DR Congo 3-2 at the Stade des Martyrs.
