Chaos erupted in Ada, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun state as armed individuals attacked the community, resulting in the tragic death of Dele Agboola, a 42-year-old chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

It was gathered that the gunmen numbering about four stormed the Pako area of the community where the wife of the deceased’s shop was located to perpetrate the dastard act.

According to a security source,

“Dele is a chieftain of PDP till his death. He was shot while eating at his wife’s shop in the Pako area of Ada around 8 PM on Thursday. The reason and Identity of the killers are yet to be unravelled, however, the family members prevented us from taking the remains of the deceased to the hospital for an Autopsy test.”

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke confirmed the incident to the newsmen.

She said,

“Mr Agboola has been buried around 8:30 AM on Friday by his family members.”
