Renowned Nigerian DJ, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, on Tuesday, expressed her aspiration to become a backup singer for the celebrated musician Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake.
Cuppy, on Tuesday, shared a video via her X account, formerly Twitter, of her first meeting with Asake and conveyed her strong desire to join his music band as a backup singer.
She wrote,
“Hadn’t met @AsakeMusik in real life until this surprise. I was finally able to discuss my deep desire and career development of becoming his full-time backup singer.”
About three weeks ago, Asake achieved an incredible milestone by selling out the renowned 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, UK.
This remarkable accomplishment places him in the esteemed company of Nigerian artists such as Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid who have also achieved this feat.
